After a great performance against Beaconsfield both Saracens teams were in tough vs the Irish. The Saracens 2nd team kicked off at 1:30pm and like the previous week they found themselved down quickly. The Irish 2nd team, full of experienced players, lead an all out attack on the young Saracens and score early and often. Unable to find any answers or team cohesion the young Saracens were unable to mount any sustained attacks or settle their defense to stop their attack. Score at half 0-28 for Irish II.

The 2nd half was a little better as the team was able to mount a few attacks that did not lead to points but did enough to keep the Irish at bay. Team defense improved in the 2nd half and the fighting spirit was found as the young Saracens were not going to be shut-out. With constant effort and hard work they finally managed to penetrate the goal line and save face in the 2nd half. Final score 7-40 for Irish II.

The Saracens 1st team kicked-off at 3pm against Irish I and much like the 2nd team game, they found themselves down by 7 early. Working hard and driving the ball down the field the 1st team managed a penalty goal and with the score 3-7 it looked like it would be a tight hard fought game. Unfortunately that's as close as the game would get for the Saracens as the Irish put their international roster to work and scored a sleuth of tries. Half-time score 3-28 for Irish I.

The 2nd half was much like the 1st half with the Irish dominating most phases of the game. Even when the Saracens managed to get turn-over ball, the Irish would get it right back. The Saracens 1st team players worked hard but not as a collective unit and it showed in the final score, 10-46 for Irish I.

A lot of work needs to be done to reduce the amount of points that are given to the top tier of the Quebec A division, and there's no reason why this could not be accomplished by a young and strong willed Saracens team.
