On a hot sunny afternoon in Beaconsfield the Saracens 1st team took the field looking for an important bonus point win. The game started off well for the young Saracens spending 20 of the first 25 minutes in Beaconsfield's half and scoring 14 out of a possible 17 points. However with about 15 minutes left in the half the Saracens found themselves penalized several time on their own 5 meter line. Beaconfield tried to scrummage the ball across the try line with little success. they then attempted to several pick & go's within inches from the try line the same result as their scrums. The Saracens defended their try line with great intensity an success, not a tough thing to do when the opposing team lacks creativity. Half time score 14-0 in favour of the Saracens.

The 2nd half started the same way the 1st ended with the young Saracens being penalized repeatedly, and it did not take long for Beaconsfield to capitalize with a field goal. With constant pressure and great back line defense the Saracens were able to create a turnover ball which lead to a high-diving try by Chad McKell which gave the Saracens a 19-3 lead. The lead would not last long as the the penalties kept mounting up and with two breakdowns in the defense Beaconsfield found themselves within 4 points of a victory with 3 minutes left. Once again the back line defense was great and forced Beaconsfield into error and the hero of the day, Jamie Bohemen, picked the loose ball to score his 3rd try of the day. Final whistle 26-15 and the bonus point for the Saracens! MAN OF THE MATCH: Bohemen, J.
