The game did not go so well for the young Saracens as they fell to their opponents 26-o. Laval managed to score in the opening minutes of the game and that seemed to set the tone for the rest of the encounter.
With several hard runs coming from the Laval centres and good support play they were able to build a 14-o half time lead. In the 2nd half the Saracens came out strong and managed to drive the ball down the field, everyone believed that they had scored however the referee saw differently. This seemed to drive the wind out of their sails and Laval scored 2 more times.
The effort was there but there was a serious lack of teamwork and due to a lot of people missing practice lately timing was an issue too.
